Choco - Banana Hazelnut Macarons: (Nutella Banana Macarons)
Almond Shells with Hazelnut Chocolate Cream and the touch of Banana Filling (a.k.a.Nutella - Banana)
Chocolate (especially dark) and banana, they taste fantastic together, both scent and flavour are perfect combinations. This macarons reminds me about my favourit dessert when I was young..long time ago.
Nutella is an Italian brand of tasty creamy chocolate and hazelnut spread. Nutella to me just like an old freind... which I had a (sweet) memory with. When I was a university student, sometimes I had been busy all day and had to stay up late at night tried to finish tons of assignments.No time for cooking, no time to dine out. Nutella was like one of my life saver. I always had it on hand. It's easy match to anything from a banana or just a piece of bread. So now here I already has two kids (student)freindly menu to share ^^. Even there's nothing fancy and may all of you have done this many times. But it just fun to talk about it again....The past was always beautiful...
First menu, nutella-banana, ..1 banana, chop in pieces then put in a plate and set a side. In another bolw mix 1 tsp a spoon of nutella and 1 tbsp of milk, stir till mixing well. Then dizzle nutella mixture over banana or just pour over or even dip your banana in,..whatever you like, then Enjoy!
Another menu, JUST a spoon of nutella, a piece of white bread, and a glass of milk. So just spread nutella over your bread , then bite! ^^. ..that was enough and all I need. (Easy, simple but super yummy, energy kick, stay alert treats and sweet :)....
Now, a no fail and time saving menu for me and my family is swedish pancake topping with banana, a click of nutella and dizzle with sweetend condensed milk. ( my minutes pancake recipe is 1 egg, 1dl milk, 1 dl water and 1dl wheat flour, mixing all ingredients together well and fly in a cancake pan with butter on medium high heat.)
Now we live in Swden, which organic food is pretty popular and easy to find. So, we mostly choose organic first. Even it's a bit pricey but we beleive that it's better choice for the whole family and enviontment in the long term.
I found this ekologist hezelnut cream from Coop has taste pretty as good as nutella. So for my special macarons filling today, I make the ganache of hazelnut cream and dark chocolate. For the touch of banana I use banana juice instead of banana essense.

For the filling:
Choco - Banana Hazelnut Ganache
30 g organic hazelnut cream
60 grams dark chocolate, cut into small pieces
60 ml organic heavy whipping cream (35-40% butterfat content)
1/2 tablespoons (6 grams) organic butter
1/2 tablespoons banana juice ( or essense)
For Yellow Almond Shells:
for small 30 shells
49 g egg white
53 g fine sugar
pinch of salt
69g almond
63g icing
food colouring (Golden Yellow Wilton)
Roast Hazelnut for sprinkle on the shells (crush)
